Slatine are small fisherman's town where you can buy fresh fish, home-made vegetables and olive oil. During the summer, festivities and sport mettings take place. On the southern side of Ciovo island, only 2km away from Slatine, there is a famous Virgin Mary sanctuary, the one that is nice to visit.
